about

Hey everyone!
I am so happy to finally release my charity single and show everyone how hard we've worked on this. I really put my heart and soul into this so I really hope that you love it as much as we do!
My team and I decided that, just time in for Christmas, we would release a charity single in hopes to raise awareness around young adult and childhood cancers here in Ireland. As you may know, this means so much to me as I am currently fighting Stage IV Sarcoma Cancer.
A friend of mine, Jim, passed away from brain cancer last year and his brother sang this lament for him as he was cremated. So, as you can imagine, it truly means a lot to me.
This song has a gorgeous tone to it and in my opinion, makes death seem as natural as birth. I chose this song to cover as not only is it sentimental to me, it definitely drives home the fact that at Christmas, not everyone asks for presents. Some people beg God to save their or their children's lives.
I really hope that you love this track and I do hope you take part in promoting it with us so that we can reach CHRISTMAS NUMBER ONE here in Ireland!

All proceeds from this track will go to:
1) The Gavin Glynn Foundation
2) Jade's Sarcoma Journey Treatment Fund

lyrics

Of all the money that ever I had,
I spent it in good company,
And all the harm that ever I'd done,
Alas, it was to none but me.

CHORUS:
And all I've done for want of wit,
To memory now I can't recall.
So fill to me the parting glass,
Goodnight and joy be with you all.

Oh all the comrades that ever I had,
They are sorry for my going away,
And all the sweethearts that ever I had,
They'd wish me one more day to stay.

CHORUS:
And all I've done for want of wit,
To memory now I can't recall,
So fill to me the parting glass,
Goodnight and joy be with you all.

*BREAKDOWN*

And all I've done for want of wit,
To memory now I can't recall.
So fill to me the parting glass,
Goodnight and joy be with you all.

But since it falls unto my lot,
That I should rise and you should not.
I'll gently rise and softly call,
Goodnight and joy be with you all.
